| General Store Ahh one of my favorite shopping places in the Twin City area. It has been a long time favorite -- a must on the "to do" list when company comes for a visit from out of state. My dear Mom came to several Pajama Party events back in the day when the store did that....and Amy (dear daughter) and I have so many warm memories of those times. It tugged at my heartstrings a little bit today to see the store in all it's Christmas finery and not have my Mom with me. Amy and I had a great time oogling and ahhhing over all the things on display, but managed to not empty our pocket books before leaving the premises!! We had a great lunch in the Cafe' -- our favorite order of a cup of soup and scoop of salad --- Amy always enjoys a Hot Chocolate too, while shopping. To all my sister sibs---we missed you today! I did make a Caribou stop on the way home for a enjoyable Northern Lite Vanilla Latte...........pure Bliss!! Hope you all make a visit during the Holiday Season to a place that just warms your heart !! |
