The sun has been shining in all it's glory the last two days, warming us up to 60 (even 70's yesterday)
warm degrees. The only downfall is the WIND has been gusting sometimes over 45 mph, making for lot's of tree clutter all over the ground. Oh well, at least the snow is gone and the lakes are becoming less and less ice free!!
I woke to the gobbling of 3 male turkeys strutting for their ladies around 7 this morning. Their colors are really pretty when they are all feathered out in their glory. LOL.....the ladies were uninterested, as they just kept pecking away in the rocks below the birdfeeder for fallen seeds. I did see one frog hopping across the street last night as I drove home....unbelievable how quickly they come around.
We are to have a fairly warm Easter - predicting around 50 degrees and sunny. The grands would love to have an Easter Egg hunt, so am readying myself for that. We are going to attempt some new techniques at egg decorating tomorrow - hopefully, as many other ideas have fallen short of our expectations, these eggs will be beauties LOL!!
Had a great "run in" with a friend, from many years back, at the grocery store today. She and her husband have moved into the area...quite near to me. We exchanged phone numbers and hope to get together this summer :-)
As a side note....the Birthday Cake Frappaccino from Star Bucks on Monday was Delicious!!
